CASL is an all-inclusive nonprofit agency with 40+ years of experience educating youth, caring for seniors, training the workforce, placing immigrants on the path to citizenship, and securing our community’s housing and financial wellbeing.
When the stay-at-home order came, CASL was ready to serve clients either remotely or through safe distancing and protection practices. Our community’s needs can change in an instant, and we prepare ourselves for any needs that can arise.
Our Center for Social Impact uses Salesforce to evaluate client data, help staff make informed decisions, prove program impact through dashboards, aid in shaping policy, and pivot to assist with data during remote operations.

Designate your gift to the SENIOR MEAL PROGRAM and help us provide three nutritious, freshly cooked, culturally appropriate meals per weekday to hundreds of seniors in our Chinatown community.
Learn how CASL is becoming an authority on Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, care-giving, and support and strategies for whole families; thanks to a grant from the Administration for Community Living (ACL).
Be a STAR when you read stories to CASL kids and their families; virtually! Storytelling Stars and our campaign for literacy will some day return to our early childhood classrooms, but for now we are scheduling remote readings via Zoom.
Many of the households we serve are multigenerational with three or more generations all living under the same roof. But even when this isn’t the case, CASL is dedicated to fulfilling the needs of entire families no matter how many roofs they live under. Families are the foundation of our community, and when our foundation is strong, our community can thrive.
Our volunteers, sponsors, funders, and donors are the lifeblood of CASL. Without you, our staff would not be able to provide comprehensive vital services to thousands of Chicagoans every year.
