Dr. Wellington Hsu is a Clifford C. Raisbeck Distinguished Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Hsu’s clinical practice focuses on the use of minimally invasive procedures to treat spinal disorders. This includes the integration of technological advances such as image navigation, percutaneous instrumentation placement, and robotic surgery. He has widely popularized the use of novel techniques to shorten recovery times and improve outcomes such as lateral interbody lumbar fusions, cortical pedicle screws, and posterior tubular access surgery. Dr. Hsu has been widely recognized for his expertise and helped introduce these technologies internationally. He regularly dedicates his time to help attending surgeons incorporate these techniques into their respective practices.
