Chaoran Jin is a Managing Director of Keystone Capital, a private investment firm with a focus on building market-leading niche businesses since 1994. At Keystone, Chaoran leads the firm’s investment efforts in food and technology industries; including multiple investments in Asian-owned businesses.
Born and raised in China, Chaoran came to the US at age 19 to pursue her graduate degree and build her professional career. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. She also holds an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago. Prior to Keystone, she held operational leadership positions at Owens Corning in Chicago. Chaoran’s previous experience also includes working for McKinsey & Company advising a broad range of clients across different industries, the investment banking division of Citigroup in Hong Kong, and product development at Motorola’s mobile device division.
Chaoran resides in Chicago with her husband, Steve, and their two children.
