Nilda is dedicated to championing diversity, equity, and accessibility, aligning perfectly with CASL’s core values. Her collaborative approach, coupled with her commitment to excellence and innovation, positions her as an asset in advancing CASL’s mission of empowering individuals and families for over 45 years.

Nilda Duenas is a seasoned and innovative leader with over 18 years of extensive experience in program management within the education and workforce development sectors. Her journey in leadership roles has seen her drive transformative initiatives across various organizations, always with a strong commitment to empowering individuals and communities.

Nilda has a passion for centering students and families in the work that she does, and her personal goals have always aligned with those of the companies she has worked for. She enjoys running half marathons and taking her dogs for long walks. In 2001, while studying abroad, Nilda obtained a Law Degree from the Universidad Michoacán de San Nicolas de Hidalgo, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, and a master’s in business administration with a Concentration in Management from National Louis University. One of her main goals is to return to Law school to be able to practice Law in her home state, further enriching her capacity to contribute to our community’s welfare.
