Catherine Danko is CASL’s Director of Foundations. She has over 25 years experience in leadership, program development, education, community engagement, and grants management. Her innovative and supportive leadership style highlights an inclusive and valued team approach.
She has spent her career serving a high poverty, high needs community in leadership and administration, grants programming and development, community outreach, and faculty positions. Her passion is working alongside her team to identify and provide the tools necessary for her constituents to be successful. Catherine worked alongside students and families as a teacher, principal, director, and executive director and has firsthand knowledge of how grant dollars can profoundly impact the day to day lives of the community she serves.
Catherine earned a Master of Educational Administration from Purdue University and lives in Northwest Indiana. She has served on the board of a community based nonprofit providing daycare, preschool, and health services in an underserved area. Catherine also was on the board of a local philanthropic sorority. She enjoys supporting her children in their interests and activities, spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and the arts.
