Lisa Wright is CASL’s Director of Government Affairs & Advocacy. Lisa has extensive experience in leading policy and advocacy initiatives, developing community engagement programs, and managing multimillion-dollar strategic partnerships. As a first-generation individual of many categories, Lisa is committed to advancing equity-centered policies and programs. She has successfully led efforts to pass legislation and secure funding in education, public safety, gender equity, and workforce development in Washington, DC.
In the past, Lisa was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Indonesia, and she is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Indonesian. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys hiking, boxing, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
