Yanchao (Alex) Luo is CASL’s Associate Director of In-Home Service. He has been part of CASL’s mission to catalyze the transformation of individuals, families and the community for an equitable future since 2017. In his role, he oversees the development and implementation of CASL’s In-Home Service for seniors in Chinese-speaking and many other communities. He oversees the largest group of employees at CASL, ensuring culturally appropriate and competent in-home care for seniors so they may live safely and comfortably in their own homes with dignity.
Alex’s career began in the hotel and hospitality industry, where he held a variety of roles such as housekeeping supervisor, computer technician, and restaurant general manager. He earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Guangzhou University, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Illinois at Chicago. He holds a wide variety of certifications related to professional development, leadership, healthcare and other areas.
Alex’s wife is a teacher in CASL’s Child Development Center, where their children currently attend classes. His personal goal is to inspire others to have the best in their lives. His personal motto is “where there’s a will, there’s a way”.
