Jed Lam is Executive Vice President Edelman Data & Intelligence (DXI) and national lead in the Chicago office. He brings 20 years of experience in custom primary and secondary research and is an expert in both qualitative and quantitative techniques. His work with Fortune 500 brands, government, and non-profits has covered the spectrum of marketing/comms initiatives including segmentation, Trust measurement, brand positioning, media monitoring, thought leadership, and campaign evaluation.
Since joining Edelman in 2019, Jed has been a leader in Boundless, their national employee group for AAPI and he led the award-winning pro bono work for Stop AAPI Hate. Jed has been an advocate for the AAPI community for many years, focusing on building bridges between 1st and 2nd generation East Asians and growing partnerships with the Black and LatinX communities. He also volunteers as an Associate Pastor for New Abbey Church, an AAPI focused community serving the Waukegan area.
Jed holds a BA from the University of Chicago in Psychology and East Asian Studies and an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. He is also a RIVA trained moderator who has conducted 100+ qualitative engagements through focus groups, IDIs, and ethnography. He is a SABRE award and ARF Ogilvy award winner.
