Jinxiao (Ruby) Tan joined CASL’s Alzheimer’s Program in 2022 as the program coordinator. She is a multilingual Licensed Social Worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and a geriatric scholar from the University of Michigan. She started her social work journey in 2017 and has experience working with adults and older adults across different settings.

Ruby’s current role as a coordinator involves operating and expanding the Alzheimer’s Program; planning, managing, and implementing day-to-day program activities; providing clinical services; spearheading an interdisciplinary team; leading in educational initiatives; and advocating for people affected by ADRD. With an unwavering commitment to continuous learning, she always strives to expand knowledge and expertise, ensuring the provision of trauma-informed, culturally competent, and linguistically appropriate care to clients. She is passionate and dedicated to improving community’s well-being and resilience, and empowering individuals and families through a strength-based approach.
